Abstract | After 15 years since beginning of the economic system transformation in 1989, substantial share of the polish sugar enterprises was characterised by domination of the state capital. In the research there were compared the strategies of operation in private sugar enterprises owned by chosen foreign investors and sugar processing companies grouped in the sugar holdings, possessed by the State. For that purpose operations of the research enterprises were decomposed into four function areas: production, human capital, marketing and finances. In result of undertaken analyses and comparisons of operation courses among groups of the sugar enterprises according to the above-mentioned areas, operation strategies realised by sugar enterprises grouped according to the differential ownership form were identified, described and evaluated. |
