| Abstract | The article attempts to identify and evaluate the relations between the financial situation of rural municipalities and the level of their economic, social and environmental development. The zero unitarization method was used for the data analysis. Studies show that municipalities with a higher level of income independence were characterized by a higher ratings in the development of environmental and economic component. There are no significant correlations between the municipalities’ financial situation and the sustainability of their development in the social dimension noticed. |
