Abstract | The paper aims to evaluate the usefulness of discriminatory models in the process of running a company. In the work there was verified the efficiency of action of 23 functions estimated in Polish research centers. One based on the financial information coming from the financial statements of six stock quoted companies. The companies had to cope with the bankruptcy crisis in the 2009. Moreover, on the basis of the results of the conducted analysis, there were specified factors determining the appropriate choice of the model to the prediction of the enterprise’s bankruptcy. There was also presented a ranking of tested models with the annual, two, and three-year forecast. |
