Abstract
This paper presents assessment of the relation between technical efficiency of dairy cooperatives and their financial performance. The analysis based on 169 cooperatives shows that technical efficiency is correlated with many of financial measures. Statistic test showed significant differences between cooperatives of low and high technical efficiency. The higher technical efficiency is connected with such indicators as return on equity (ROE), return on assets (ROA), return on sales (ROS), higher labour efficiency ratio and assets productivity
