Corporate Social Responsibility in hypermarkets chains in Poland

Abstract
The paper presents idea of the Corporate Social Resposibility (CSR) which has been implemented in Polish hypermarkets. The first part of the article explains the CSR concept. Then hypermarmets chains in Poland are characterized. Finally, the main, third part of the paper, concerns the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility applied in hypermarkets chains. The study reveals actions of CSR in hypermarkets including human capital, social capital, material and environmental responsibility
