The competitiveness of Polish beef market on the European Union market

Abstract
Poland beef with the large potential would become a competitive product on the European Union market. The main two factors which decisive about competitiveness of this product are the price and the quality of offered meat. The development of this market in the future can be positively evaluated when improvement of the quality of beef produced and maintain prices at profi table levels can be managed. Access of Poland to EU improved situation on Polish beef market. The price competitiveness of beef after entry was high. The authors in the following study attempted to analyze price competition on the Polish beef market in the EU market conditions.
