The Impact of Incomes on the Structure on Households’ Expenditures

Abstract
The purpose of this article was to examine whether differences in the structure of consumption expenditures of Polish households are caused by different levels of citizens’ wealth. The analysis showed that the shape of these structures are highly influenced by the values of equivalent households’ income. Incomes received by the poorest households are more often spent on basic needs than in the case of wealthy ones.
