Housing conditions as the measure of the objective quality of life of disabled people

Abstract
The quality of life is a problem of interdisciplinary character which can be examined including diverse aspects. Analysis of the objective quality of life of disabled people inhabited in country areas is an object of the present article’s interest. A measure of the objective quality of life of disabled people in the study are the housing conditions characterised through analysis of the usable area of households, number of rooms in the flat and the type of the house. The presented research material comes from research carried out as a part of the project co-financed by PFRON, concerning the determinants of the occupational activity of the disabled residing in rural areas. The primary data comes from examining a group of 5000 disabled persons from the whole Poland.
