Competitiveness of Polish agri-food products in intra-EU trade

The aim of this paper is to analyze ex-post the competitiveness of selected Polish agri-food products in intra-EU trade. Some quantitative indicators of competitiveness and cluster analysis were used. The analysis shows that Poland gained higher competitive advantages in the trade of plant products than in those of animal origin. Processed products were more competitive in the EU market than raw materials. Cereals and preparations of cereals, as well as oils and fats produced in Poland had no competitive advantages in intra-EU trade.
