Streszczenie

Celem badań było poznanie zmian hurtowych cen kwiatów ciętych krajowej produkcji w latach 2008-2014 na tle zmian cen kwiatów z importu, cen na aukcji FloraHolland i cen środków produkcji oraz płac, a także zróżnicowanie cen pomiędzy rynkami hurtowymi. Badaniami objęto 15 gatunków kwiatów ciętych i jeden doniczkowy. Podstawą analiz były ceny minimalne i maksymalne rejestrowane na 5 rynkach hurtowych w tym samym tygodniu każdego miesiąca, zamieszczane w „Haśle Ogrodniczym”. Z badań wynika, że ceny uzyskiwane przez producentów były wyższe niż na aukcji FloraHolland, a w przypadku cen maksymalnych 5 gatunków nawet wyższe niż ceny kwiatów importowanych. Przy niskich cenach w Holandii i rosnącym imporcie, polscy producenci napotykali barierę ceny. Konkurowanie ceną utrudniły także pogarszające się relacje cen kwiatów do cen czynników produkcji.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate changes in the wholesale prices of domestically produced cut flowers in the years 2008-2014 in comparison with changes in imported flowers prices, prices at FloraHolland auction and prices of production factors as well as price differentials between wholesale markets. The study covered 15 cut flowers and one pot plant. The analysis was based on the maximum and minimum prices recorded on five wholesale markets in the same week of each month and published in Hasło Ogrodnicze. The analysis showed that producer prices were higher than prices at FloraHolland auction, and in the case of maximum prices of five species, they were even higher than the prices of imported flowers. With low prices in the Netherlands and with growing import, Polish producers faced price barrier. The worsening relationship between flower prices and production factors prices made price competition more difficult.
