Influence of Hatching Percent on the Profi tability of Chick Production

In the essay the value of profitability threshold for consecutive levels of egg hatching percent ranging from 70.1 to 90.0% was evaluated. The calculation included exemplary subsidies associated with the basic price of a hatching egg, and was carried out at assumed prices of eggs and chicks. Moreover, the correctness of calculations was checked with respect to an exemplary level of fixed costs.
