Abstract
The paper presents a complex cost analysis of sugar beet cultivation in the sugar campaigns 2007/2008 and 2008/2009, that was performed in the second and third year of the sugar market reforms. Special attention was paid to the production profitability and reason for the profi tability decrease The presented analysis of sugar beet production costs allows to get familiar with the changes of profitability and production costs of in the economic year 2008/2009 vs. 2007/2008.
