Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of the banking sector in China applying concentration and profi tability measures as well as clusters’ analysis. The high level of concentration of the sector was shown. The level of effi ciency was determined based on ROE and ROA indicators. Using grouping metho ds the clusters of banks were created and described in the multidimensional space of features.
