Postawy proekologiczne mieszkańców wsi i ich uwarunkowania

Abstract

The text contains selected results of empirical studies diagnosing environmental awareness and attitudes of rural residents in the area of the (so-called) Polish Green Lungs of the European Ecological Network Natura 2000. Among the formal and informal sources of information and incentives to foster pro-environmental attitudes – one focuses on education, which is particularly difficult. In order to deepen and disseminate the environmental attitudes there is a need of an increased effort and a variety of stimuli, supporting factors and fixatives. Coherent administrative, economic, legal and educational stimuli are needed: coupled in time and organized in the way, which ensures synergies in the form of the desired pro-ecological attitudes of residents – one of the pillars of sustainable development
