Productive investments in farms benefiting from the financial support of the European Union

Streszczenie
The aim of this work is assessment of the investment activity and soureces of financing investment activity in farm, which used the financial support within the Sectoral Operation Program „Restructuring and modernization of the food sector and rural development 2004–2006”: operations 1.1: „Investments in farms”. The surveyed farmers invested primarily in machinery and equipment, and tractors. These investment are more flexibility and reversibility. In the surveyed farms the main sources of financing investment activity were own sources and European Union’s funds.
