Abstract
The aim of the paper is to present chances and the barriers of functioning of ecological agriculture in opinion of owners of ecological farms of the administrative district of Ostróda and Olsztyn. Research was made at the turn of November and December 2009 and included 37 owners ecological farms. In the research method was an interview with standardized questionnaire
