This purpose belongs to municipality therefore municipal policy has to focus especially on planning limited space. There are many reasons to rationalize space management. One of them is to prevent human rights to good living, other is to protect the space from exhaustion. Both of them impact to prices on the free property market. Abstract	The 21st century is the time of effective human capital management. In the traditional approach the enterprise’s value is influenced by amount of material assets and their ability to generate future profits estimated in cash flows. Most of the companies however build their economical power but basing only on book value is very limited. This suggests that there are assets visible to the market, but not reflected in the financial reports. In the assessment of companies’ running effectiveness and their market value there are several issues that become more and more important: knowledge, management’s and employees’ skills, innovations in company’s running, flexibility of management, promptness and quality of decision making. Abstract	Historical changes initiated in Poland at the end of the nineties, followed by integration with the European Union, have forced Poland to face a lot of challenges throughout the economy. Amongst these, there are those concerning the information systems which assist the estimation of the financial standing of the agriculture sector and individual farms. The article presents the current legal regulations and farmers’ duties regarding financial reporting. The first regulation, applicable to only a very small group of farmers, is the accounting act of law. A larger group of agricultural enterprises have to provide documentation related to profits and value added tax. The third group is those farmers who agreed to participate in the Farm Accountancy Data Network – FADN. The article concludes that despite the various legal regulations which obligate disclosure, financial information about the agricultural sector and individual farms is almost non-existent

The number of farms has incresed in all farms groups in the analyzed period. But, the production has incresed in very large farms in 2004–2006 years. The economic results has increased in almost all types of farms. The decrese of economic results was observed in large farms. Abstract	Elaboration describes statistical analysis of variations in family households in years 2004–2006. Economic value, production value, costs, farm income, credits and investments were analyzed. Gauges like arithmetical average, interval of trust, variation factor and chain index for dynamics research were applied. All researched values showed growth of average quality and a very high changeability (between 170–500%). This indicates a very high variation between examinated households.

Abstract	Constructing book keeping, planning and controlling systems in rural farms is difficult due to their specific features. Apart from its organic nature, which results from the productional and organizational complexity of a farm, family joint effort to operate farm activities and paternalistic ideology put into practice are another, important features. In consequence, even though farms are treated as businesses, its operations have limitations resulting from them being run by families. In the article there was presented the rural farm definition understood as an economic unit comprising of – on the one side – agricultural farm (enterprise), and the other side – household property. The proposed system of documentation and information gathering for our farmers has to be simple and adjusted to capabilities of a farmer. Agricultural Calendar is the most natural evidence tool, used for documenting recent and planned operations. A proposal of evidencing and data processing in the Agricultural Accounting Calendar is presented in the paper. This form of gathering knowledge about a farm and its operations was positively evaluated and accepted by farmers. During the creation of the system an emphasis was put on the functionality of the system. The scope of data collected allows after integration with a planning system, to make a periodical control of variances between realized and planned values. It gives a possibility of learning and improving the existing farmers’ knowledge

Abstract	The aim of this article is to analyse changes in the level and structure of households’ financial assets in Poland. The discourse involves selected economical factors, which condition the method of household investments. Crucial determinants influencing the increase of financial assets worth include the establishment of Open Pension Funds as new entities on the financial market. In addition the growth of Investment Funds sector influenced the increased activity of households in investments. Those changes facilitated households with an easier access to financial tools. Changes which took place in the structure and level of Polish people’s savings were, among other factors, the effect of the general growth of Polish economy. Major role in the development of financial assets’ structure was played by non-economical factors: demographic and psychological. The latter factors exhibit high level of influence during dynamic fluctuations (both increase and decrease) of market index value. Such a situation occurred during the discussed period of time

Abstrakt
Abstract	In the result of the EU enlargement not only a united legislative and economical body was formed on European basis, but also the support payments in many branches of economy in the new member states have increased substantially, including those in agriculture and rural development. A brief characteristics of place of agriculture in the economy of the Baltic states and Poland is given in the article, as well as that of the changes in total amount of support achieved before the entry into the EU. The effect of this support upon different agricultural holdings performance parameters (net value added, production net value added, net investments) in the period of years 2002-2006 is studied. A comparative analysis gave basis for the conclusions on the specificity of support use in the economic activity of holdings in different states.

Abstract	Average full (including capital, operation and maintenance costs) annual heating costs in a standard family house with 180 m2 of floor surface are compared for various heating systems under the Polish economic conditions. The compared heating technologies comprise water to water and ground loop heat pumps with both vertical and horizontal loops, a liquid gas combustion furnace, an earth gas combustion furnace, a coal combustion furnace, a straw combustion furnace, a wood combustion furnace and an electric stove. A sensitivity analysis with regard to the interest rate and the value of owner’s work did not change the general conclusion that in most cases heat pumps were the cheapest, while oil and coal burning furnaces or an electric boiler the most expensive solutions. The cost of own labour was decisive for the appraisal of labour intensive systems

Abstrakt	Celem podjętych badań była analiza wpływu zmiany przeznaczenia gruntu w miejscowym planie zagospodarowania przestrzennego na jego wartość. Badania przeprowadzono na terenie gminy Piaseczno. Zakres czasowy badań obejmował lata 2003–2007. Wyniki badań wskazały na wzrost wartości nieruchomości gruntowych z tytułu zmian planistycznych w badanym okresie średnio o 36%.
Abstract	The article includes an attempt at analysis of the influence of the local spatial management plan on the real estate value in the Piaseczno commune in years between 2003 and 2007. The research results have indicated an appreciation by about 36% of land value by title of change in the local land development plans in the investigated period.

Abstrakt	Analiza wyników pięciu typów rolniczych gospodarstw z największej klasy wielkości ekonomicznej wykazała, że instrumenty WPR stworzone dla wspierania gospodarstw rodzinnych nie przystają do przedsiębiorstw rolnych z krajów byłego bloku wschodniego. Wysoka dochodowość pracy własnej w tych krajach, gdzie na jedną osobę świadczącą pracą nieopłaconą pracuje od kilku do kilkuset pracowników najemnych, uzyskana przy bardzo niskiej produktywności pracy, była możliwa w wyniku niskich kosztów pracy najemnej i wielusettysięcznego wsparcia w euro. Gospodarstwa o powierzchni często około 1000-1500 ha, w których zatrudnia się pracowników nawet do zarządzania, okazały się w tym przypadku sprawnym narzędziem absorpcji środków oferowanych w ramach WPR, która ma wspierać gospodarstwa rodzinne
Abstract	The analysis of economic results which was made for farms of five farming types (and of the largest economical size) proved that CAP instruments which had been created to support family farms do not perform well in the countries of former Eastern European block. High own (unpaid) labour profitability in the countries where several up to several hundred of employees work per one person rendering unpaid labour, achieved when combined with a low labour productivity, was possible because of low costs of hired labour and high subsidies. Farms with an area of 1000-1500 hectare, employing even hired management workforce, turned out to be a very efficient tool of absorbing funds which are offered within CAP and which had been designed for supporting family farms.

Gospodarstwa o najmniejszych nakładach pracy na 1 krowę charakteryzowały się największymi: powierzchnią użytków rolnych, średniorocznym stanem krów i ich wydajnością mleczną oraz najwyższą ceną sprzedaży mleka. Im wyższe nakłady pracy, tym wyższe koszty bezpośrednie i nakłady pracy w przeliczeniu na 1 litr mleka a niższe wartość produkcji ogółem, nadwyżka bezpośrednia i dochód bez dopłat
Abstract	The aim of the paper was an evaluation of the economic efficiency of dairy production in relation to the total labour input per 1 cow. The research was done in 158 dairy farms. The farms with the lowest labour expenditure on 1 dairy cow had the biggest arable land surface, the highest annual average number of cows in the herd and the highest milk yield as well as the highest prices received for sold milk. The higher was labour expenditure the higher were direct costs, labour expenditure on 1 litre of milk and the lower total value of production, direct surplus and income excluding subsidies.
