Abstrakt	Celem niniejszej pracy było ukazanie sytuacji zawodowej kobiet z obszarów wiejskich na rynku pracy. Autorka przedstawiła wyniki badań dotyczące ich obowiązków oraz pracy zawodowej. Największą liczbę wśród pracujących zawodowo stanowiły kobiety, które od urodzenia zamieszkują obszary wiejskie, a głównym impulsem do podjęcia pracy były powody finansowe. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, iż mimo braku satysfakcji z wykonywanej pracy w dziedzinach pozarolniczych, nie zdecydowałyby się na jej zmianę.
Abstract	The purpose of women who living in rural areas work was to present what their professional situation really looks like. The author presents information about their duties and professional work. The financial reason was the main impulse to work of women who living in rural areas. The research showed the problem that despite the lack of satisfaction with their work in non-agricultural fields, they would not decide to change it.

Abstrakt	Głównym celem artykułu było przedstawienie carsharingu jako jednej z najbardziej popularnych form współdzielenia zasobów, w szerszym kontekście zmian zachodzących w otoczeniu współczesnego człowieka. Zmiany potrzeb dzisiejszego konsumenta i preferencji ich realizacji są obecne w dyskursie naukowym dotyczącym gospodarki współdzielenia (sharing economy), a także nowego nurtu badań: logistyki społecznej, w tym logistyki miasta. Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy i opisowy. Posłużono się analizą literatury naukowej, publicystycznej i raportów. Wspomagające, dla przedstawionych spostrzeżeń, badanie ankietowe zostało przeprowadzone wśród użytkowników systemu carsharing w Warszawie, a jego wyniki zaprezentowano w formie opisowej i tabelarycznej.
Abstract	The main goal of this article was to present carsharing as one of the most popular forms of sharing resources in the broader context of changes taking place in the environment of contemporary humans. Changes in the needs of today`s consumers and preferences of their implementation are present in the scientific discourse on the sharing economy, as well as a new trend of research: social logistics, including city logistics. The article is of a review and descriptive nature. The synthesis of scientific and journalistic literature and reports was adopted. Supporting the presented observations, the survey was conducted among the users of the carsharing system in Warsaw, and its results were presented in a descriptive and tabular form.

The lack of efficiencyof the mechanism of regulation of the grain market in Ukraine is substantiated on the basis of the obtainedvalues of “market price support” indicators per 1 t of grain and “nominal coefficient of protection of producers”used in the countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Theforecasts of gross collections of cereals and legumes, as well as their volumes of domestic consumption inUkraine for the period up to 2025 are estimated. The state of transport and logistics infrastructure of the grainmarket of Ukraine is estimated. Based on the analysis carried out, strategic guidelines for the development ofthe grain market and its regulation mechanism are proposed.

Abstrakt	The study is devoted to the diagnosis of entrepreneurship development in rural areas.The aim of the work is to analyze and evaluate the dynamics and directions ofentrepreneurship development in rural areas of the Podkarpackie province as well as toidentify changes and trends as well to present the strengths and weaknesses of rural areas inthe studied area. On the basis of the conducted research, it can be concluded that the numberof business entities in rural areas is systematically growing, and forecasts indicate furtherdevelopment. Assessment of directions and dynamics of entrepreneurship development basedon the number of entities by selected NACE sections in 2009-2017 showed no significantvariation in trends in all counties the trends are similar. The largest growth dynamics relat tocommunication and information services on, the real estate market as well as rental servicesfor buildings, machines or devices, job market mediation, tourist services, detective orsecurity services, maintenance of cleanliness and order, development of green areas, andoffice administration. In turn, industries such as agriculture, forestry, hunting and fishing,wholesale and retail trade, vehicle repairs, financial and insurance activities werecharacterized by a reverse tendency - a systematic decline in the number of business entitiesoccurred. The remaining sections of PKD maintained a stable, unchanging level.

The article presents the share of fruitharvest in Poland in the context of global and European production, the importance of Polish fruit export andimport, as well as the results of statistical analysis of the impact of fruit supply on the consumption of theseproducts in Polish households from 2010 to 2017. The research shows that the supply of fruit on the Polishmarket did not have a significant impact on the amount of their consumption in households.

Abstrakt	The aim of this paper is to identify the role and importance of pro-investment mechanisms within the CommonAgricultural Policy in the reproduction of farm assets in countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Theexperimental material comprised unpublished microdata of farms originating from the FADN database of theEuropean Commission (data source: EU-FADN – DG AGRI). The time frame covered the years 2004–2015.Among all the farms selected for analyses only those ensuring data continuity throughout the entire investigatedperiod were used in the study. In each of the studied countries farms were divided into two groups: thegroup of beneficiaries of CAP pro-investment funds and the control group. For each farm the value of fixedassets was determined (excluding the value of land) and next the mean value for each group was calculatedin an individual country. The study showed that in most investigated countries both farms being and thosenot being beneficiaries of CAP pro-investment mechanisms are capable of reproducing their fixed assets;nevertheless, it is the farms receiving financial support for their investments that show a capacity to increasethe value of their fixed assets.

It was found that there was an increase in labour productivity in winefarms in almost all countries selected for research. The largest increase was recorded for Czech, Portugueseand Bulgarian farms. Nevertheless, the highest productivity of work was characteristic for French, German,Austrian and Italian farms. Additionally together with the increase in the economic size of wine farms, theproductivity of work increased too.

Abstrakt	Celem artykułu była charakterystyka pojęcia i genezy żywności lokalnej oraz dyskusja nad jej znaczeniem w kontekście zrównoważonej konsumpcji. Wskazano, iż rozwinięcie rynku żywności lokalnej oparte jest na tradycji wytwarzania i spożywania produktów pochodzących z własnego gospodarstwa, stanowi efekt rozwoju metod produkcji, przechowalnictwa, transportu, dystrybucji i współpracy środowisk lokalnych. Zaprezentowano dane dotyczące rynku żywności lokalnej oraz przeprowadzono dyskusję na temat definicji żywności lokalnej. Przedstawiono producentów żywności lokalnej, jako autentycznych „strażników” systemów jej produkcji, mogących wnieść istotny wkład w popularyzację modelu zrównoważonej konsumpcji. Potwierdzono tezę o istotnym znaczeniu produktów lokalnych w realizacji idei zrównoważonej konsumpcji. Stwierdzono, że rynek żywności lokalnej stanowi szerokie pole działań i wymaga dalszych prac, następnie zasygnalizowane przyszłe kierunki badań. Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy, a prowadząc analizę, dokonano analizy danych wtórnych, w tym także własnych badań naukowych w tym zakresie.
Abstract	The aim of the paper was to characterize the concept and origin of local food and to discuss its meaning in the context of the sustainable consumption idea. The paper points that the development of the local food market is based on the tradition of production and consumption of food products that come from private farms and is the result of the development of production methods, as well as methods of storage, transport, distribution and cooperation between local market subjects. The paper presents data concerning the local food market and discusses the definition of local food. It shows local food producers as authentic “guardians” of local food production systems who can significantly contribute to the popularization of the sustainable consumption model. Moreover, it confirms the thesis about the importance of local products in the implementation of the idea of sustainable consumption. The local food market turns out to be a wide field of activity and requires further scientific work. The paper proposes some future research directions. It is a review that includes analysis on the basis of some secondary data, including also the author’s own scientific research in this field.

Abstrakt	The article discusses the shortcomings of tax policy in the agrarian sector of the economy of Ukraine, whichhas created non-competitive conditions for small farms. Large agricultural enterprises in Ukraine use theexisting special tax regime as an optimization of tax liabilities. This has led to such negative economic,social and environmental consequences as the development of landlands, the deterioration of agriculturallandscapes, the increase in export-oriented production, the growth of unemployment in the village and themigration of the rural population. While small farms, without state support, provide the population with basicfoodstuffs. The purpose of the article is evidence of the use of a special tax regime only for small farms, basedon an analysis of the special tax treatment regime in Polish agriculture and an analysis of the differential rentmethodology laid down in the basis of a special tax regime, as well as the development of practical recommendationsfor Ukraine.

The analysis covered eight industries of processing organic products.Over thirteen years, there has been a steady increase in the number of organic processing plants, despite thelow amount of organic production and the lack of developed and sustainable forms of cooperation at variouslevels – from the producer to the consumer. The low consumption of organic products (compared to Europeancountries) also shows down and shapes changes that occur in the structure in particular processing sectors.

Abstrakt	The aim of this article was to answer the question – do integrated fruit and vegetable producers act in accordancewith the assumptions of “the logic of collective actions” by Olson, or want to increase the marketorganisation level, as suggested by Docian Ciolos, increasing the number of existing groups/organisations?Basing on a library query, the assumptions of the “logic of collective actions” are presented. Using the dataprovided by the European Commission, a significant negative relationship was found between the averagesize of the group/organisation and its effectiveness. In addition, there was a regress of organising the fruitand vegetable market in the European Union. Therefore, it is suggested that according to the assumptions ofMancur Olson’s theory, selective stimuli (institutional support) motivating members of groups/organisationsto produce a common good that can be, i.a., overcoming the barrier of production scale or competitivenessof the sector should be applied.

Abstrakt	Information and communication technologies (ICT) are becoming more accessible and more widely used indifferent areas of socio-economic activity and in various territories, including rural areas. There is a noticeableincrease in the interest of rural residents in modern technologies, especially those supporting communication.At the same time, it should be noted that despite the small level of ICT skills and competences, ruralareas have great potential that can be expressed in: human resources, the natural environment biodiversity,and raw materials. Therefore, rural areas in Europe should be similar in terms of the use of ICT and shouldnot differ from the level observed in urban areas.The article presents the use of the AHP method (Analytic Hierarchy Process) for multicriteria decision analysisof the use of ICT by natural persons living in rural areas of the European Union (EU), in 2018. The empiricalmaterial used in the research came from the resources of the European Statistical Office (Eurostat).The result of the survey is the ranking of 27 EU countries (Great Britain was omitted). The obtained resultsshowed large disproportions in the use of ICT in rural areas between the countries of the European Union.In the extreme case, between Denmark being the leader of the ranking and Bulgaria, which was in the 27thplace, this differences amounted to 70.7%.

The theoretical part discusses the concept and the essence of ecology and ecologicalawareness, as well as the elements and significance of ecological education. In the practical part, the attitudeof the group of students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the WULS-SGGW to the necessity of pro-ecologicalbehaviours and their expectations regarding the ways of propagating knowledge and activities in thefield of environmental education is presented. It turned out that more than 90% of the respondents considersuch behaviours as a necessary one, while around 60% believe that the entities responsible for promotingit among the society – in the form of obligatory education – should be schools and universities. Finally, thestudy contains original conclusions and findings regarding the observations made during the research.

There was noted the necessity to introducethe perspective directions of economic activity of the enterprise, forming its image, ensuring competitiveness,profitability, and development. In order to make effective management decisions under uncertaindynamic environment, it is suggested to use fuzzy modelling for the prevention of the crisis occurrence.In order to present the possibility of using such an approach in the practical activity of agricultural enterprises,in particular which are engaged in dairy farming, we proposed an informational and logical modelfor determining the forecast average price of milk, taking into account the indicators of its quality, thatis based on the theory of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic. In the context of anti-crisis management, there wassubstantiated the possibility of using the proposed model, as a basic one, in any agricultural enterprise inorder to improve its activities.

The study found the prevalence of two relationships; (i): the higher the development level of a country, the lower the share of agribusiness GDP in the national economy; (ii): as the country develops, the share of the 2nd agribusiness aggregate in the GDP becomes relatively smaller compared to that of other agribusiness aggregates. A known problem faced in these analyses is that the I/O tables are published with a huge delay and are only available for some countries. Therefore, the studies on agribusiness measurement for all European Union countries in one period are relatively scarce in the relevant literature. Also, a proprietary method of agribusiness GDP measurement was used which takes account of the particular role of the food industry.
