Abstract	The study presents models which were used to prepare panel data (estimation based on the classical method of the smallest squares, panel model with fixed effects, panel model with random effects). Panel analyses were conducted which were supposed to identify factors influencing revenue figures. Based on the statistical tests it was found that panel model with fixed effects was more applicable then the other methods of estimation (for analyzed type of data). As a result of analyses performed it was found that revenue is mostly impacted by cash-flow, level of employment and work productivity. Established variables improve the management process of sale.

Abstract	The process of funding in enterprise joins two inseparable and mutually related problems in enterprise – the investments assets delimitation and identifying possible sources of financing, which from the managers point of view, should also includes the costs of gaining additional capital. The correct utilization of capital in enterprise requires continuous monitoring of the financial effects of its performance in aspect of possessed assets. It leads to formulating the establish definitions in relation to economic quantities which helps to identify the major efficient financing sources in company activity. The methods and analysis tools should asses the most profitable level of loan capital and assure possibility to create the early warning system before financial losses appear in enterprise.

Abstract	In the article the relations between opposite approaches to working capital management and chosen financial ratios are defined on the example of stock companies from food processing industry. In the enterprise Kofola S.A. using an aggressive working capital strategy a low level of liquidity, short cycles of current assets’ conversion and negative cycles of cash conversion appeared. Profitability of business and the value of EVA were low in this company. In the enterprise Wilbo S.A. using conservative strategies, high level of liquidity ratios, longer cycles of current assets’ conversion and cash conversion. Conservative strategy of Wilbo S.A. was characterized by negative rates of profitability and negative rate of return for owners built on EVA. Opposite approaches to working capital management do not ensure required rates of return from invested capital for shareholders. That is why the synchronization of partial strategies of the enterprise is very important.

Abstract	Company in order to grow needs financing. The classic way is to acquire a credit from the bank. This is directly linked with the question of collateral what in case of the company is not the obvious choice. Another classic way of fi nuancing the company is the share issue. This solution is however linked with the question of ownership that is unavoidably diluted with every issue. Sometimes the company is on a excellent path of growth, does not want to disperse ownership, has already used all available asset for a collateral and still needs some capital because of the scale of the project. In this case the solution might be any of private capital sources. The possibility known since the 80’s is “mezzanine finance”. This is financing that combines some features of credit with some features of share issue and comes from the private investors. Because of its collateral, investment time range and the ways of running the company it is perceived to be appropriate for several years large projects generating sizeable and stable cash flows. This is as well a good path of development for the family run businesses where there is no evident heir and the management wishes to take over the company but lacks sufficient capital. Particularly in the times of crisis when the banks impose tight rules on credit policy and the stock exchange investors are reluctant to take any risks the mezzanine finance may be an answer for companies capital needs.

Abstract	The paper deals with the analysis of the relationship between efficiency and effectiveness of SME sector enterprises in respect to size of the employment and fixed assets value. The enterprises were characterized by fixed assets diversity and value of investments outlay. The micro enterprises used possessed fixed assets quite effective. Definitely the lowest participation of long term financing was recorded in enterprises which noticed small value of fixed assets. In enterprises which had the highest value of this assets noted profitable situation in aspect of financial liquidity, whereas the lowest was ascertained in group with an average value of this assets. The fixed assets turnover was higher in enterprises which characterized by the lowest level of fixed assets In these group noticed the highest effectiveness of equity capital utilization. Abstract	The study presents the importance of cash flow in the management of financial enterprise. Cash flow is used for management of liquidity, bankruptcy prediction and credit risk assessment. The ratio analysis in research based on cash flow complements information about the financial situation and regards to cash approach. The traditional indexes calculated on the basis of data from the balance sheet and income statement do not provide complete information about the financial situation of the enterprise. This reflects from financial results which are considered as non-cash transactions, such as depreciation. Cash flow rules emphasized the importance of cash in a free market economy. The enterprise could generate the profit but due to the lack of liquidity it goes bankrupt. It is not mandatory for all enterprises to draw up the cash flow statement. For this reason, the analysis of cash flow is often ignored.

Abstract	The elaboration estimates the managers opinion from small and medium size enterprises in Świętokrzyski region take into account management and investments in fixed assets. Most of the enterprises noted increasing productive potential as well as development. The research period were characterized by significant increase of equipment and machine participation in assets structure of these enterprises. This is positive trend reflected in profitable tendency increase companies operation potential by fixed assets. The main source of financing the fixed assets was the equity capital. The managers have been guided by the level of cash during a selection of financial resources. The enterprises managers were planning enhancing the level of fixed assets equipment, through equity capital involvement, which is simply safer.

Abstrakt	Wymagania prawa żywnościowego przyczyniły się do wzrostu konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw przemysłu mięsnego i mleczarskiego, m.in. przez modernizację infrastruktury tych przedsiębiorstw. Z punktu widzenia zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem wprowadzenie systemu HACCP powinno się traktować jak inwestycję, która w niedalekiej przyszłości przyniesie zwrot poniesionych nakładów, zapewni łatwiejszy handel na rynku krajowym i międzynarodowym oraz da większe szanse na utrzymanie starych i zdobycie nowych konsumentów. Przedsiębiorstwa branży mięsnej i mleczarskiej, jako jedne z pierwszych były zobligowane do spełnienia wymagań unijnego prawa żywnościowego. W porównywalnym stopniu przedsiębiorstwa obydwu branż, jako pozytywny skutek spełnienia wymagań prawa żywnościowego (wdrożenie systemu HACCP) uznały m.in. wzrost samokontroli pracowników, czy też podniesienie jakości wyrobów.
Abstract	Requirements of food law contributed to an increase of competitiveness of meat and dairy industry thanks to a modernization of plant infrastructure. The implementation of the HACCP system from the point of view of company management should be treated as an investment which in the future brings repayment of costs, guarantees easier foreign and domestic trade and gives an opportunity to hold the old and to get new customers. Companies of meat and dairy industry were the first obliged to comply with the requirements of the EU food law. Companies of both branches in the same degree acknowledge, among other things, an increase of their employees’ self-control and an increase of product quality as positive effects of meeting the EU food law requirements (implementation of the HACCP system).

Abstract	The paper is showing changes which followed the Polish accession to the European Union in the Polish fish economy. Such problems are described as adjusting of fishery administration to the Union requirements, reduction of fishing capacity, profitability of fishery, development of fish processing industry and changes in the fish market. Based on research results is a conclusion that the future of Polish fish economy depends on development of the deep-sea fishery and the fish industry.

Abstrakt	Typ rolniczy stanowi jedno z kryteriów używanych dla charakteryzowania gospodarstwa rolnego w UE. Jest on określany na podstawie udziału poszczególnych działalności w tworzeniu ogólnej wartości standardowej nadwyżki bezpośredniej (SGM . Standard Gross Margin) gospodarstwa. Celem opracowania jest ukazanie zakresu zróżnicowania wyników produkcyjnych i ekonomicznych gospodarstw o różnym typie produkcji. Do oceny efektywności gospodarowania w poszczególnych typach gospodarstw posłużono się produktywnością i dochodowością ziemi, pracy i kapitału.
Abstract	An agricultural type constitutes one of criteria used to characterize the agricultural farm in the EU. It is determined on the basis of the share of individual activities in contributing to the total value of a farm’s Standard Gross Margin (SGM). The purpose of this study is the attempt to show Differentiation of output and economic results of farms conducting different types of production. Land, labor and capital productivity and profitability were utilized to assess management effectiveness at individual types of farms. Abstrakt	Zaprezentowano znaczenie sektora spółdzielczego w gospodarce krajów wysoko rozwiniętych. Scharakteryzowano kondycję polskiej spółdzielczości po 1990 roku oraz nakreślono kierunki transformacji polskich spółdzielni. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań autorka upatruje słabość tego sektora głównie w istniejącym mało elastycznym prawie i tradycyjnym sposobie zarządzania przedsiębiorstwami spółdzielczymi.
Abstract	The article presents the importance of the cooperative sector in the economy of economically advanced countries. It describes the condition of the Polish cooperative movement after 1990 and indicates the directions of transformation of the Polish cooperative companies. On the basis of the conducted research the author associates the weakness of the sector mainly with the current law . which is not very flexible . and the traditional method of managing the cooperative companies.

Abstrakt	Przedstawiono rozwój doradztwa rolniczego w Polsce w ujęciu historycznym oraz porównano systemy doradztwa w wybranych krajach Unii Europejskiej. Wraz z rozwojem gospodarczym doradztwo dostosowuje się do nowych potrzeb rolnictwa. Współcześnie doradcy, aby sprostać realizowanym zadaniom muszą posiadać szeroką wiedzę nie tylko w zakresie nauk rolniczych, ale także polityki gospodarczej, ekonomii i zarządzania. Właściwe wypełnianie zadań przez doradców wymaga stałego podnoszenia kwalifikacji oraz udoskonalania warsztatu pracy upowszechnieniowej.
Abstract	In the paper historical development of agriculture advisory (extension) service in Poland was presented. Additionally comparison of agriculture advisory systems solutions in selected European countries was conducted. The evolution of agriculture advisory services is strongly correlated to farmers needs and changing with changes of agriculture technologies, farm economics and rural policies. Advisors need to be highly educated not only in range of agricultural issues but they also must cope with questions concerning farm management, farm economics and economic policies. Because of widening of range of required knowledge advisors have to bring up their professional qualifications continuously and improve their advisory techniques
